Reselo Rubber
Breaking 109 years of status-quo within the raw material and rubber landscape
Our novel Reselo-material is an elastomer, a rubber polymer - the backbone of rubber compound - giving it it's many characteristics.
Reselo Rubber replaces traditional rubber polymers, minimizing carbon footprint. Compatible with most traditional rubber polymers, filler and additives - it can be used in many different combinations.
Application Areas
Fashion & Footwear

Industrial
Reselo Rubber
Pushing the possibilities of renewable 21st-century production
Bringing consumer goods to the forefront of raw material innovation and green transition.
Sustainability
100% Biogenic Carbon
No fossil building blocks.
Performance
Compatible
Compatible with all commonly used rubber polymers for compounding.
Sustainability
Minimize Carbon Footprint
Cradle-to-grave emissions can be cut by up to 90%.
Water Repellent
Reselo Rubber is water repellent.
Sustainability
Less use of fillers
Keeps hardness of compounds, decreases filler content - and improves environmental impact.
Performance
Flexibility & Robustness
The material exhibits a great flexibility as well as robustness which makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Sustainable
Renewable
Fossil-free elastomer produced exclusively from forest biomass, allowing for the production of renewable products and decreasing their carbon footprint.
Case study
4 kg of CO2 per kg
Reselo saves up to 4 kg of CO2 per kg material replaced. 3 500 replaced material means up to 14 000 ton CO2 avoided.
Reducing Carbon Footprint
Replacing traditional rubber materials with Reselo Rubber reduces the carbon footprint significantly.
The IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute has performed a climate impact assessment of Reselo Rubber and made a general comparison to the most common rubbers on the market.
Emissions can be cut in half.
Free and safe from hazardous components
Reselo Rubber is free from the harmful chemical compounds PAH, PCB and heavy metals.
PAH and PCB are groups of chemical compounds which can be carcinogenic, harmful to reproductive organs or environmental toxins.
The negative impact of heavy metals, such as arsenic and cadmium, on biological systems can be severe. An independent test lab have concluded that Reselo Rubber is free from both PAH and PCB as well as >90% of tested metals and harmful chemical elements.
Case study
Reselo Rubber vs SBR
Replacing rubber in sport equipment with Reselo™ rubber leads to drastic CO2 reduction.
Sport equipment manufacturer consuming 3 500 ton of fossil based rubber saves annually 11 700 ton of CO2.
This would allow 27 000 barrels of oil to stay in the ground and instead these emissions could be used to charge over 1,4 billion smart phones.
Case study
Reselo Rubber vs Natural Rubber
Replacing rubber in shoe production with Reselo Rubber leads to saving the rainforest.
Shoe manufacturer consuming 4 500 ton of latex (natural rubber), annually producing 30 million pair of shoes would save 1 800 hectare of rainforest or food production areal.
The land area equals to the size of 27 000 tennis courts, saved from destruction and loss in bio diversity.

Swedish Technology
Reselo Rubber is created using the flexible component found in birch tree bark.
The bark is separated and isolated before recomposing to form the patented Reselo Rubber structure.
The raw material collected for producing Reselo Rubber is residual waste from the forest industry, just burned for energy today. A solution leveraging the best of what the nature has already developed.
